He put up a good fight Growing up in rural Michigan instilled in me a love for natural places. The northern parts of this state are beautiful and rugged. There's nothing I like better than visiting the waterfalls, beaches, and backwoods of the Upper Peninsula. Camping, hiking, and fishing are some of my favorite ways to spend the summer weekends. Although I'm sure I'll miss Michigan, I'm excited to get out and explore some new places in my new home of Washington, DC. Bond Falls in the Upper Peninsula, definitely off the beaten path
The right ingredients create a tantalizing aroma Give me an apron and a good set of knives and turn me loose in the kitchen. I love to cook, especially with fresh ingredients. My tastes are simple: a nice steak done just the right way, vegetables bursting with flavor, pasta with slow-cooked tomato sauce...you hungry yet? Let's have dinner. Check back soon for recipes, pictures, and stories about my kitchen experiences. Food fit for an archivist
Flash Cron Everyday's a party with Snookums (the cat) and Flash (the dog). They are partners in crime, the brains and the brawn, you might say. Naughty as the day is long - and a heck of a lot of fun. Flash enjoys chasing squirrels, fetching tennis balls, and sleeping. Snookums favors an empty cardboard box and a good catnip buzz.Snookums Cron
